Chirp V 1.2 for Windows and Mac now allows the user to turn the QWERTY keyboard function on or off using the CAPS LOCK key. This means that you can set Chirp to "Send Notes Always" and use CAPS LOCK key inside your DAW application to allow Chirp to be active or not.....FYI.

DAW Users - please make sure to leave the Chirp MIDI In setting blank OR turn off MIDI THRU when using the app to send MIDI data to your DAW. Just set up the MIDI Out to one of the internal LoopBE MIDI ports (such as "1. Internal MIDI") and set your DAW up to listen on that port for MIDI data......it should work fine.
